Individual Counseling

You don’t have to have the perfect words to start. Reaching out can feel vulnerable especially if you’ve been carrying a lot alone. In our work together, my hope is that you feel seen, supported, and never judged.

We’ll take things at a pace that feels safe as we build a relationship grounded in trust and steadiness. Whether you’re navigating trauma, anxiety or mood symptoms, relationship pain, or a life transition that’s knocked you off balance, we’ll work toward helping you feel more connected to yourself, your needs, your voice, and your sense of direction.

This is a space to come home to you gently, honestly, and with support.

Couples Counseling

Relationships can hold so much love, and also so much pain. When communication breaks down, trust feels shaken, or the same patterns keep repeating, it can be hard to know how to move forward. Reaching out for support is a meaningful first step.

My hope is to offer a space where both of you feel heard, respected, and supported as we work through what feels difficult. Together, we will gently explore the patterns, wounds, and stressors impacting your relationship while building healthier ways to communicate, reconnect, and respond to one another.

This is a space for healing, repair, and deeper understanding with support along the way.

Common Questions

How do I know if in-person or telehealth is best?

Both can be effective. We’ll choose what fits your needs and accessibility. Some people prefer telehealth for comfort and convenience; others prefer in-person for connection and structure. We can also mix both when it makes sense.

What does a first session look like?

The first session is a gentle starting point. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, what you’re hoping for, and what feels most important right now. We’ll also make sure the pace feels supportive and not overwhelming.

How often do people usually meet?

Most people start weekly or every other week, then adjust as they feel more stable. We’ll choose a rhythm that fits your life and your goals.

Do you take insurance?

I currently accept Providence and UnitedHealthcare/UHC/UBH insurance plans and also offer private pay services. For clients with insurance plans that I am not currently in-network with, I can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Coverage and reimbursement depend on your specific insurance plan and are not guaranteed. I am also happy to help you check your out-of-network benefits before beginning therapy so you have a clearer idea of what your plan may cover.

How does self-pay work?

Self-pay simply means you pay for sessions directly, rather than using insurance. After we schedule, I’ll share the payment options and any paperwork you need. Payment is typically due at the time of session. If you have any questions about fees or which session length is the best fit, I’m happy to help you decide.

What is your cancellation/no-show policy?

Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to avoid a late cancellation fee.
